Process
1. You will be placed in a group of 3
2. Your group will choose the explorer you wish to research
3. Use the listed websites to gather general information about the Age of Exploration and specific information about the explorer you choose and record this information on the Explorer Information Sheet found on the Resources page.
4. As a group, you will determine the three greatest impacts you explorer made to the development of the modern world. Then, each member of the group willl write a paragraph for one of the points, using Googledocs. As a group, each member will contribute to the writing of the introduction and the conclusion. Students will use the PIE method for writing their paragraphs/paper. Be sure to include a detailed resource page, using the APA style.
5. Each group will then use the website glogster.com to create a collage/poster promoting the positive contributions your explorer made to the modern world.
6. Each group will then give a presentation to the class, trying to convince us that your explorer made the greatest impact on the Age of Exploration and deserves to be inducted into the World History Hall of Fame
